PCC Adds Training for Supply Chain

LAKELAND - There is perhaps no better sign of the growing complexity and influence of Polk County’s transportation and warehousing industry than a new project at Polk Community College.

In less than a year, PCC’s Corporate College has established the Supply Chain Management Institute, a training initiative developed with the help of industry standouts such as Lakeland-based Saddle Creek Corp., Auburndale-based Comcar Industries and Lakeland’s Publix Super Markets Inc., among others.
