Business school adds new major

The School of Business began offering a new undergraduate major in supply chain management this fall.

An introductory class will be offered this semester, with follow-up classes beginning in the spring.

“A lot of businesses in this region have a very high demand for people who have these skills,” said Doug Houston, director of finance, economics and decision sciences at the business school. “If we can produce students with experience in this field, the business community will be happy, and students will be happy.”
