Supply Chain Management and Logistics are Key to Succeeding in China


An increasing number of companies, in the face of slowing domestic markets, are looking to China’s rapidly evolving markets for additional growth. Not surprisingly, supply chain and logistics excellence is among the keys to realizing that potential, says a consultant from Booz Allen. So is the ability to take a multi-faceted and flexible approach to the market and supply chain development.

“In working with multinational companies that enter China, either to manufacture goods or to sell to Chinese markets, we can almost always tell which ones will succeed and which will probably fail,” writes Booz Allen’s Edward Tse in a recent issue of the firm’s Strategy + Business magazine.
